There is nothing wrong with gift giving during that time of year, there are lots of discounts make sense to take advantage of the stores deals and getting someone you love a nice gift, nothing wrong with that. Nothing wrong with having family over for a nice meal and enjoying each others company. Why on that day though?

Up right like a palm tree, fasten it with hammer and nails. You dont do that with idols, you do that with your christmas tree that sits in your living room. That is exactly what we did as children with our christmas tree.

if you look out scripture & when the shepherds were in the fields it was most likely Jesus was born in September some time.
The Bible is clear on man made traditions, we are told to be separate from the world
Romans 12:2

We are Christians are not be celebrating christmas, God is merciful. If you have no idea and your celebrating christmas we here at Theophilus would like to think that God will have mercy on you, we dont know only Jesus does. We can say 100% without a doubt that God will not have mercy on you if you know , ignore it & continue to celebrate.

We are saying go to the bible ans look for yourself. We gain nothing from telling you all this. All we want here is to help you grow closer with the Lord. We here at Theophilus that we loved christmas so much, for us it was the best time of year for us as children and our families but we value our relationship with Jesus to much to celebrate something that has pagan roots and continues to be pagan to this day. We set out to please Jesus more than ourselves. We know this can be hard for people to accept as they love the holiday so much, we are coming to you on this subject out of love.
